Rap music can soothe my soul
I swear the more vulgarity and profanity
the more I will lose control
and I mean that in a good way
and I know it sounds bad to say
but there is something about the words as they flow from a rapper's lips
something that just hits me in the hips
it makes them shift and sway in every which way
you know why? They really don't lie.
Something with that beat as it drops
it makes my bottom hop and I just can't stop.
The rap music can say whatever it wishes
as long as the beat is there I don't really care.
Sure, I like to hear something different sometimes
but in general as long as it rhymes I am perfectly fine
with the same old lines
about music, b******, money and style
I really could care less if its demeaning all the while.
I know what it's really out to do
its to get us up off our feet to bust a move
dust off the shoulder and show how you groove.
So I'll love this s***

its the feeling that counts and that ain't no lie.
