Selfish

Sometimes we find it hard to accept ourselves as selfish
But we can't help it because we are just born into this world
Where an the action's reaction turns into our own personal satisfaction
Take volunteering,
We all do it, high school- it's now there so we can push through it
We do it for our resume
To walk away from a parent's dismay
But ultimately its for you
Try as you may
You cannot say that you're keeping those selfish feelings at bay
People want to feel that connection, we love the affection
The way you've made an impact in someone's life
It makes you feel so good, are there any objections?
We are making a difference, isn't that so?
